5 Days — Best of Southern Vietnam + Da Lat. Beach Dunes, Flower City Highlands & Dragon Fruit Country.
Three very different Souths in five days. Mui Ne on the coast — sand dunes, fishing villages, and the Fairy Stream. Da Lat in the highlands — Crazy House, Truc Lam Pagoda by cable car, Linh Phuoc Dragon Temple, and the pine-scented night market. Saigon connecting it all — Notre Dame, the Post Office, and the Café Apartment Block on Nguyen Hue. The Dragon Fruit Farm on the drive between Mui Ne and Da Lat completes the route.

5 Days Best of Southern Vietnam + Da Lat Flower City
This five-day package is the most diverse South Vietnam itinerary available — connecting three fundamentally different landscapes: the Mui Ne beach and dune coast, the Da Lat highland plateau, and Ho Chi Minh City. Each destination is a different altitude, a different climate, and a different version of Vietnam. It is the only South Vietnam itinerary that covers all three regions in a single continuous journey.
Da Lat receives two nights — the right amount for a city that rewards wandering. The Crazy House (Hang Nga Guesthouse), the Linh Phuoc Dragon Temple (Vietnam's most elaborate mosaic pagoda), and the 7-Tiered Linh An Pagoda on Pren Pass are on day three. Truc Lam Pagoda — accessible by cable car over Tuyen Lam Lake — is a working Zen Buddhist monastery built in 1993, the only major pagoda in Da Lat accessible by cable car, with the lake valley and Da Lat's pine-covered ridges visible from the gondola. The one-way cable car (descent) is included.
Between Mui Ne and Da Lat on day two, the route passes through dragon fruit country — Binh Thuan Province produces 60% of Vietnam's dragon fruit export, and the Dragon Fruit Farm stop allows a farm visit where the bright pink-skinned fruit grows in rows of tall cactus, tended by the farm family who have been growing it since the 1990s. The fruit is harvested and tasted fresh at the farm.

Why This 5-Day Southern Vietnam + Da Lat Package Stands Apart

Truc Lam Pagoda — Cable Car over Tuyen Lam Lake
Truc Lam Pagoda (Bamboo Forest Monastery) is a working Zen Buddhist monastery built in 1993 on a forested hillside above Tuyen Lam Lake, 5 km south of Da Lat. The cable car from Robin Hill descends over the lake — its reflection shifting between silver and blue — to the monastery entrance. The complex includes meditation halls, a lotus pond, bonsai garden, and pine-shaded walking paths. The one-way cable car (descent to the monastery, the shorter direction) is included. The lake below — a dam lake surrounded by pine forest — is the largest in the Central Highlands.

Linh Phuoc Pagoda — Vietnam's Dragon Temple
Linh Phuoc Pagoda at Trai Mat village, 8 km from Da Lat centre, was built between 1994 and 2000. The main hall is covered in an elaborate dragon mosaic composed of 12,000 beer bottles and ceramic shards — a continuous 49-metre dragon in emerald, gold, and blue that winds around the exterior. The 9-storey bell tower (49m) is the tallest in Vietnam. Inside: an 11.5-metre standing Buddha in white porcelain. The level of detail in the mosaic — done entirely by hand over six years — makes Linh Phuoc the most visually dense temple in the country.

Mui Ne Fishing Village & Sand Dunes
Day one in Mui Ne covers the coastal highlights in sequence: the working fishing village (bamboo coracle boats, junk fleet, morning wet market), the Fairy Stream (red clay canyon walk, ankle-deep through clear water), the sand dunes (Red Sand Dunes 2 km from town, best at sunset; White Sand Dunes 25 km north, best at dawn). The ATV ride through the White Dunes is optional at own expense on this 5-day itinerary (for the included ATV version, see the 4-day Saigon Mui Ne package).

Dragon Fruit Farm — En Route Binh Thuan
The drive from Mui Ne to Da Lat passes through the Dragon Fruit producing heartland of Binh Thuan Province — where over 60% of Vietnam's dragon fruit is grown. A farm stop en route allows a guided walk through the growing rows (tall cactus trained on concrete posts, the vivid pink fruit hanging from the spiny pads), fresh fruit tasting, and a conversation with the farming family. Dragon fruit in Vietnam comes in three varieties: white flesh (standard), red flesh (sweetest), and yellow skin (the rarest and most expensive). The tasting at source is distinctly different from supermarket dragon fruit.

Three South Vietnam Landscapes in Five Days
Beach coast, highland flower city, and colonial metropolis — this package covers all three Southern Vietnam landscapes that most tours visit separately.
5 Day Southern Vietnam Da Lat Flower City Tour from Malaysia
The 5-day Best of Southern Vietnam + Da Lat package is the most varied South Vietnam itinerary for Malaysian travellers. It connects three fundamentally different destinations — the Mui Ne sand dune coast, the Da Lat highland plateau at 1,500 metres, and Ho Chi Minh City — in a single continuous journey with all logistics arranged.
Da Lat stands out as the most surprising destination in South Vietnam for Malaysian visitors: a temperate highland city (15–25°C year-round) with pine forests, French colonial architecture, strawberry farms, and the most unusual architectural attraction in Vietnam — the Crazy House (Hang Nga Guesthouse). The Truc Lam Pagoda cable car and the Linh Phuoc Dragon Temple add spiritual and visual dimension that the coast and city cannot replicate.
